Appointment booking
An AI voice agent that books appointments.
A booking agent answers on your website or in your app, asks what the caller needs and when they are free, checks your calendar through your own endpoint, books the time they pick and reads it back. It never invents a slot: it only offers what your system says is free.
On a call.
What the caller hears and what happens behind it, step by step.
- The caller asks for an appointment, in their own words and language.
- The agent asks for the day and time that suit them.
- It calls your endpoint for free times and offers two or three.
- The caller picks one; the agent books it through your second endpoint and confirms it out loud.
- When the call ends, your server receives the transcript and your own booking ID.
What you set up.
All of it in the studio, or through the API.
- Tools. Two HTTP endpoints of yours: one lists free times, one books a time. The agent decides when to call each.
- Variables. The caller’s name and anything you already know, so the agent does not ask twice.
- Webhooks. The call’s end, with its transcript, sent to your server for your records.
A brief to start from.
Paste it into the agent’s instructions and make it yours. The business in it is an example.
You book appointments for Sunrise Dental. Ask what the visit is for and when the caller is free. Use find_free_times to see what is open and offer at most three times. When they choose, use book_time, then read the day and time back to them. Never offer a time the tool did not return.

Questions.
Does it work with my calendar?
It works with any system you can put behind an HTTP endpoint: your own database, a calendar API, a clinic system. The agent calls your endpoint; Crackle does not need access to the calendar itself.
What if no time suits the caller?
Write that into the instructions: offer the next day, take a message, or end the call politely. The agent follows what its instructions say.
Other things to build.
Customer support
A voice agent that answers support questions from your own documents, looks up orders through your systems and sends every transcript to your team.

Put a talk button on your website with one line of HTML: visitors talk to your agent in their own language, with no server of your own.

Add a spoken conversation to your iOS, Android or React Native app: your server starts a call with one request, the app joins it with live captions.
